Made to Order

Alex D’Paula offers on-demand eco-friendly and sustainable pieces. Our garments are made to order to avoid production of excessive stock and textile waste. Your items are individually cut and sewn by hand right here in Europe by Alex D’Paula himself or one of our partners depending on your item. To ensure each item is finished to our own high standards, orders may take 2 weeks to be made and ready to dispatch. Once dispatched, shipping estimated delivery times will apply.

Shipping & Handling

We deliver worldwide. Your order will be dispatched via PostNL if initiated from Amsterdam. You'll be able to track your order through their website using the tracking number provided via our fulfilment e-mail to you.

Customs & Import Taxes

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. We are not responsible for delays due to customs.

Return & Exchange Policy

You can return items to alexdpaula.com within 14 days of receipt of your order. Please note items must be returned within this timeframe and be in a saleable condition. This means returning the item to us in its original condition, unused, in its original packaging, with garment tags still attached (if any).

Custom or personalised items can't be returned or exchanged.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, we can't accept returns for custom or personalised orders.

Please contact us prior to returning your item to confirm returning address.

Once we have received the returned item(s) we will consider the condition of the goods being returned before authorising refunds or exchange. After we have accepted your returned items, we will process a full refund within 7 days to your original credit or debit card or store credit card. Returned items will be refunded excluding the original cost of shipping and the return postage cost (unless deemed faulty). 

Size Exchanges

Wrongly ordered sizes won’t be eligible for refunds. We make everything on demand, so requesting a size exchange would mean producing an entirely new product.

Cancellations & Damaged goods

Alex D’Paula only offers refunds for damaged or mislabeled products, not for buyer’s remorse. If you cancel the order because the item is faulty, alexdpaula.com will cover the return costs.
